In Under Wood Tree Mountain, a group of men were heading to the sect hall to tell the news to the Sect Master about the recent events. Drops of sweat flowed down their heads as they drew closer to the hall rushing as fast as their legs would allowed them. Coming a foot away from the sect hall they all came to almost a complete stop. The sect has long had a strict tradition that did not allow anyone, no matter the urgency to run once passed the Gate of Wisdom which was the entry to the courtyard of the sect hall. They all stopped in front of the 10 meter tall double doors. They called for the disciples to open the doors, and allow them to see the sect master as they had urgent news. The sect kept four disciples assigned to the door as it took four people to open it due to its oversized metal doors.
The signal was given letting the people in while the 10 meter tall double doors slowly opened leaving behind long scratch marks along the floor. The group of men started to walk through the plain almost pitiful courtyard that lead straight to the main hall. Entering the room brighten up the whole view of the men while on the other end of the room became visible with a thrown located right in the middle, but it looked more like a over size wooden chair than a thrown.
Standing beside the chair was a scrawny man with a wicked smile. He looked ugly with one wart on both sides of his eye brows giving him the nick name “four eyes”. Not because he wears glasses, but his warts are so big that people can’t stop staring at them. He’s know for his mischievous and bad deeds, but he’s always a step ahead to get out of trouble.
The man sitting in the throne is the sect master. His body takes every corner of the chair leaving no room. He’s short only being 4’3 while his arms, and legs are stubby like the bottom part of a 10 years old tree trunk. The thrown has been set low matching his short legs so they can touch the floor.
“Sect master!” A group of five men kneel in a orderly line. Waiting for the harsh punishment that’s about to fall upon them, as they just got done explaining the events they went through. The sect master face twisted when his men got done speaking. Making his face red with anger, and his fist tighten making him look like a baby that just got his candy taken away.
He took a deep breath, and thought to himself for awhile. After several minutes passed he had begun to talk with a smile ridding across his face. “Let him go!” Waving his hand as if it’s a small matter.
The men that were on their knee’s look up, and gave the sect master a crazy eye. One of them even brought up the courage to say something to the sect master.
“But…Sect Master after what he did, and now your wanting to let him escape, but why?” The other men also couldn’t understand what their sect master was thinking. All of them were thinking the same thing as the man that just spoke.
“Haha…” The sect master started laughing seeing his men look at him like a crazy person.
“It’s quit simple really. He’s trash! He’s ran off in the north side of the mountain leading were the most ferocious monster roam around. Just the weakest monster out of the whole mountain could kill him, and he’s gone were their most seen and ferocious. He’s a cripple, he would be lucky enough to survive a night running around on that side of Under Wood Tree Mountain. Count him good as dead!” The sect master began to laugh once again while four eyes beside him also started to laugh chuckle quietly to himself. The men that were on their knees left the building to tell that the search had ended.
……..
“Drop”
“Drop”
In a cave, the ceiling is smooth with icicles hanging from top with water slowly dripping off, but the sides of the cave is rough and pointy. A stream of water is calmly running through the middle of the cave, but still leaving enough walking space on the sides. The only light source giving off is a hole in the ceiling with a strip of light, making it hard to see inside.
“Hey, I think I heard something! Come over here!” A man voice rings out in the soundless cave bringing life to it. A little boy looked behind his shoulder, seeing dark shadows not to far away from him. He then looked in front of him seeing that the cave split into two half’s. Without anytime to spare he hurried and ran forward.
“Ding…Ding…Ding.”
“He’s this way! Look the sound coming from the left side of the cave! Follow me!” A order was given out as twelve shadows followed along the left side of the cave. The boy then came out of his hiding spot with a smile on his face. Before he choosing a side to go down he found a spot behind a rock perfect for his small body.
Throwing a rock to the left side of the cave and he went into hiding waiting to see how many people there were and see where they would go.
‘I could go outside, but they could have people station outside waiting for me. I guess the only option is to go deeper inside of the cave, and wait it out for a week or two.’ Thinking to himself, and coming to the conclusion he put one foot in front of the other and went deeper inside of the dark cave. Walking forward it came enough where he could barely see his hand in front of him. Trusting luck, he put his hand on the side of the wall and followed it.
Finally, after about a hour of walking aimlessly he found a light. Thrilled to see the day of light like a mad man he began to rapidly run towards it. Entering into the light he had to put his right hand to his eyes trying to adjust his eyes to the new bright light.
After, a while he lowered down his arm to see that the place he just entered was like an underground world. There was a large pond with fish swimming around in it with pure bright green grass. With a huge white tree touching the top of the roof with the branches as its support. The branches on the tree that were not in the roof were full with fruit, and leaves as big as a hand. While the boy was walking into the cave he had his mouth open wide in astonishment.
With each step he took it was light, and cozy as the soft grass absorb his feet. For the past three weeks all he had been doing was run for his life non-stop, so the feeling of the grass brought a comfort feeling. It was until now did he finally felt like he could relaxes. He bent down, and put his hands into cup, and brought some water to his dry mouth.
‘Finally I get to sleep.’ He then laid down by the pond, and closed his eyes.
…
…
…
“Finally the time is coming! Wake up so that I can!” A deep stern voice rings out in the boys head.
“Who are you, and why do I hear you inside my head?” The boy looked around, but all he could see was pitch black on the left, and on the right is a bright light. Both begin polar opposites of each other, but keeping a prefect balance.
“Hurry, wake up so that I can as well!” The deep stern voice grew louder as it spoke.
“Who are you?” The boy had slowly opened his eyes thinking he had just heard something. He then checked his left, right and nothing was there.
Nudging his shoulder he thought nothing of it closing his eyes once again.
“I said who are you, and why are you here?” The voice calls out once again, but this time it was a little louder. The boy hop’s on to his feet, and this time carefully scanned the room.
‘Am I’m hearing stuff, or am I just going crazy.’ He slowly began to walk around the cave. Looking for anything that looked unnormal.
“I said who are you!” Pin pointing the spot where the noise was coming from he rushed towards it. Ready to take it head on, because besides this area there is nowhere left for him to run. So either he takes this voice out or it takes him out.
He goes to the side of the tree prepared to attack moment notice. Closing up on the tree he sees something white. ‘Hair maybe?’ Thinking to himself he jumps out on the side of the tree. It felt like time froze in the little time he was in the air. A girl was lying down on the tree rusting her back towards it. The boy eyes went big as one word ran across his mind . ‘Beautiful!’
‘By far she’s the most beautiful thing I ever seen. It feels like my heart had stopping beating, because it was also stunned for the second her beauty caught my eyes.’ He just stood there dazed with his eyes wide opened like a egg.
Taking in the full scenery of this he didn’t want to ruin it by saying a word. The girls hair is white like the moon and her yellow eyes are like the sun. Her smooth slick skin looks like it glitters when the light hits it. She’s had a dress that was white, but had a pinch of red to it making her stand out even more. Her age had to be around 13 or 14 around the same age as the boy.
The girl also stared into the boy with widen eyes, but unlike him, her gaze was a little different. It was pity. The boy clothes were on there last strings with holes all over. Scars covered his body, and to make it worse it looked like he was a walking skeleton. His arms, legs, hip, chest even his head is to the bone. If the wind in the cave blew a little harder he would probable fall over, and brake every bone or what wasn’t broken.
The only thing that made this boy special was his eyes. They are black like the night, but has a hint of blue in the middle that make his eyes really pop out at you. There beautiful as they seem they’re staring into the soul.
Breaking the silence the girl went first. “What’s your name, age, and what level is your Martial cultivate? What planet are we on?” The girls voice was beautiful to the ear it was like it was playing a melody to the boy.
The boy stood there stunned by all the questions mostly by the question ‘what planet are we on?’ But he then thought there’s no harm to answer her. He then cleared his voice and began to talk. “M…my na…me is Chin Ju, my age…e is 13 my birth day w..as yesterday. The pl..a…net we live on is call…ed the Xuanwu, a…and as for my Martial cultivate.” Then paused for three seconds and continued. “I d…don’t Martial cultivate!” Sounded like he’s whispering while he was talking, but the realization was that he couldn’t raise his voice.
His dried lips kept smacking against each other trying to pronounce his words, but some times it came out crackly and hard to hear. He would also take a brakes between the couple of words he said as if every breath was important to him.
“Why don’t you cultivate? Is it because you got crippled by someone? How did you get in here?” The girl then started to ask even more questions.
“I got lo…st, and I saw light so I ca…came over here. As for my Martial cu…ltivation, I can’t Mar…tial cultivate. I was bor…born as a crippled.” Chin Ju looked at the floor when talking about his cultivation. To be more exact it was pain that was on his face. Not being able to cultivate has always been hard subject for Chin Ju.
Instead of answering; the girl just smiled. “Truly the heavens are looking down on me. Chin Ju how does this sound? I will give you something that will allow you to cultivate, and in return you give me something I want.” Her smile made Chin Ju go into a daze, but when she said that she can make him martial cultivate it brought him right out of it.
“I’ll do it, whatever you need, I’ll do!” Chin Ju replied without the slightest hesitation. With a dry smile going ear to ear and as if life just came to him, his voice was clear and crisp to hear.
“It’s quite simple really, I’ll give you a god body. You have met every requirement that is needed for it. By taking this god body you will be able to cultivate. It will acquire you to stay here for one year for your body, and the god body to be one. In that time you will go through pain that you never felt before, because your body will be slowly ripped apart and slowly put back together. In this time you will be in a life, and death state until your body is done being reborn.” The girl had been watching every reaction that Chin Ju had, and to her surprise he was calm state the whole time. But, she did not take this reaction to heart because he was only 13, so maybe he didn’t understand everything she just said.
“When can we start!” His voice grow louder as his body looked like it was coming to life.
“Right now!” With out saying another word a invisible force started to attack Chin Ju body. Making him collapse on to the floor. His eyes closed and no more movement came from him. She then started to wave her hands around forming ancient symbols.
….
A hour had passed, while beads of sweat dropped down the girls’ forehead. A light flashed out of Chin Ju, and all the symbols she had been writing came together. “Finally I’m done.”
She then backed her hands away, and started to watch Chin Ju. The light started to fade out on Chin Ju, little by little until it finally went away after a minute.
Chin Ju eyes opened staring at nothing. His face started to warp with pain as each part of his body was getting bombarded with pain.
Then out of nowhere, “Ahhhh…. ahhhh.” Screaming at the top of his lungs. He started to roll across the grassy floor. He took his hands to his face and started to madly start scratching. Red streaks of blood began to slowly go down him. Putting his bloody hands on the floor he tried to use them as support to get up, but everytime he tried his body would heavily hit the floor. Making his side bones take the full impact of the hard cold rocks on the floor. Cracking sounds came from his body everytime he tried to get up.
