“My name is Chin Ju, and I am heading to the Soul Dividing Sect .”
Chin Ju gave his name because either way they are going to find out. Their are people from his sect that go to the Soul Dividing School, so finding out who he was wouldn’t be to hard. He told them where he was going since it wouldn’t cause him any harm and it could ease some of their tension.
“Why should I not kill you where you stand?!” The Sect Master said while staring down Chin Ju. He was clearly concerned that Chin Ju had ulterior motives.
The Sect Master pulled the kid behind him while he was making his way toward Chin Ju. Taken by surprise Chin Ju took a step back squinting his eyes brows.
“I saved your son! Shouldn’t you be rewarding me as your benefactor rather than pointing a spear at me? I think your father forgot to teach you manners?”
Chin Ju had never met these people and only saved the son out of courtesy. After saving his son and without asking for anything in return the Sect Master was treating him as if though he was a villain who had killed his dog.
“You dare to speak like that to me.” The Sect Masters rage now evident in his face his killing intent was starting to fill the surroundings. His son who was standing behind him took a step back in fear.
The people holding the spears was closing the circle getting closer to Chin Ju as they release their cultivation joining in with the dad.
As far as Chin Ju can tell there’s 11 people surrounding him, and with him just getting his cultivation he cant yet tell what level they are on.
“Wait…”
Seeing how the situation was getting out of control Qing Sha hurried and put his voice in the mist of all this.
“You be quite! Look at how he’s dressed. He has blood and holes covering him and his cultivation is only at the first level of earth realm. He’s here to take advantage of you!”
Before Qing Sha could say another word his dad quickly stopped him. He wanted to keep on insisting, but his dad would not listen to him.
“Look I don’t care what you guys think. I’m a busy guy I can’t be here wasting my time. So if you would I will take my leave.”
Getting irritated of his time getting wasted he thought that he would try to leave. In truth he really doesn’t know if he can make it to the Soul Diving School just by foot, so longer he takes here, the worst it gets for Chin Ju.
“You…You still dare to act like this. MEN KILL HIM.”
Qing Shan pointed his finger at Chin Ju giving the order to kill Chin Ju. With that the men that were surrounding Chin Ju rushed at him ready to kill him.
‘Crap!’
Chin Ju would try to move, but there coming in from all sides. If he tried to escape from one side then that would only quicken his death.
“WAIT!”
A voice came ringing out from within the forest as it stopped the men in their assault. Unlike Qing Sha everyone turn around to see we’re the voice regenerated from because each of them seemed to know the owner of the voice.
A middle age man in his 30s came walking out of the forest with a faint smile on his face.
“Qing Yan what are you doing here?”
The Sect Master was surprised to see him throwing him into confusion. Normal Qing Yan likes to stay in section to focus on his cultivation.
“What? Cant I also go looking around for my nephew? You didn’t think that I would stay cooped up at the Sect while you guys were looking? I was worried sick that something might had happen to him.”
The Sect Master only put on a mighty smile hearing that.
“Of course! Of course! You can go looking for Qing Sha, he is family after all.”
The Sect Master then turned around to look at his son.
“Listen closely Qing Sha, don’t forget that your uncle Qing Yan is also a trustworthy person.”
‘Trustworthy person?’
Chin Ju thought that was a weird thing to say about someone, but he didn’t think to much into it. He had never had to worry about it.
“Yes father!”
“Good! Remember its important to know these things Qing Sha.”
“Cough…Cough”
“Not to interrupt you, but may I ask why your attacking this kid?”
They all turned there heads back at Chin Ju remembering that he was there, and with that the Sect Master fury also came back.
“M…”
“Qing Shan, what did he do wrong for you want to kill him.”
About to tell his men to carry out with the attack, the Sect Master got cut off by Qing Yan.
“As I told my son earlier. Look at how he’s dressed. His clothes are soaked in blood and has holes all over him but with no cuts. His cultivation is only at the first level of earth realm. He’s obviously here to take advantage of us.”
“He was probably going to take Qing Sha and returned him when he knew he was going to get benefits from it. We found them right after we put up a poster for my son. Don’t you think that’s a bit odd?”
The blood intent that was coming from Qing Shan increased as he explained what Chin Ju might do to Qing Sha. How that he was only here to use Qing Sha and take the award.
Qing Yan on the other hand only shook his head. He turned to look at Qing Sha as he begun to talk.
“Qing Sha tell them how you met this person.”
Nodding his head Qing Sha started in detail of every past event that has happened. He first explained when he got lost that there was a pack of wolfs following him and seeing someone he immediately ran towered them. He then explained how Chin Ju beat the wolfs and if it weren’t for Chin Ju he would not be here now.
As Qing Sha talked, Qing Shan face had only gotten uglier and uglier.
When Qing Sha finished with his explanation of how he met Chin Ju. He made sure not to leave a single detail out as for Chin Ju might be killed. He even made some parts more important then what they were.
”Lower your spears and step back!”
Qing Shan yelled at his men. Listening to the sect master they hurried and brought their spears down. Qing Shan then walked forward to Chin Ju leaving three feet between them. In a slow action he bent his back at Chin Ju and began to bowed.
“Sect master!”
”Sect master!”
The men yelled out in surprise as they rushed forward to support him up. Not even half way did they make it until Qing Shan raised his hand stopping them right in there tracks.
“Chin Ju, I’m sorry!”
Qing Shan then straighten his back as he begun to talk.
”I almost killed my benefactor. If it weren’t for you my son would be dead right now.”
Qing Shan began to bow one more time but before he could a hand landed on his shoulder. He looked up to see Chin Ju shaking his head no.
“There’s no need for that it was misunderstanding.”
Chin Ju smiled showing that he seriously forgave him and by the way Qing Shan was acting Chin Ju could tell that he was a good man at heart
“Men!”
”Yes sect master.”
The men line up ready for a command.
”I want you to give Chin Ju the reward and to give him fresh clothes.”
The men looked each other with complicated faces.
“Sect master the only clothes we got are the clothes that we packed for are self’s and the closest town is five miles away.”
Qing Shan and his men thought that it might take a couple of days to find Qing Sha, so they decided to bring another pair of clothes with them.
”Did I ask what you guys think? Hurry and do what I told you!”
Qing Shan yelled at his men to go retrieve their clothes. Listing the men hurried into the forest and brought forth all there clothes to Chin Ju. Chin Ju held out his hands as he was about to grab the clothes, but before he could the sect master yelled out.
“You idiots where is he suppose to hold those clothes? You think he’s going to carry those all day? Hurry and go put them in are wagon!”
The men turned around and went back into the forest. This time they came out with a wagon with two Long Horn Porti. There animals that have all there muscles in the legs but ugly when it comes to the facial features. They have flabs of skin going down there faces that make them commonly know for there old look from birth.
“Here’s your reward. It’s 30 Martial Grass Flakes.”
One of the men came up and handing the bag to Chin Ju. Chin Ju bowed as he accepted the Martial Grass Flakes.
“This is embarrassing, but could you explain what the Martial Grass Flake is?”
Chin Ju said while rubbing his head and smiling.
“You don’t even know what a Martial Grass Flake is?”
One of the men couldn’t help but speak out.
Chin Ju just smiled and kept rubbing his head.
“The Grass Flakes originate form the hole Martial Grass Moles. They come from places that have higher Cultivation in the ground. The Grass Flakes can help you cultivate in your Martial way.” Qing Yan calmly explained.
Chin Ju smiled as this is exactly what he needed right now. Chin Ju has only lived on Under Wood Tree and living there he is completely clueless about everything almost.
“I thank follow juniors for the help.”
“Hahaha, we almost killed you and now your thanking us. Truly great….Can we take you to the Soul Dividing Sect?”
The sect master was pleased to see Chin Ju was not mad. He still felt he was in the wrong so he was going to take Chin Ju where he needed to go. He remember him saying that he was in a rush so he thought it was the least he could do.
“Sorry, to trouble junior.”
Chin Ju would normal say no, but he felt he would not make it in time. Seeing how Chin Ju didn’t denied the request the sect master smiled showing his satisfaction.
“Great…Shall we take off.”
Chin Ju shook his head yes and with that the Sect Master, Qing Yan and three of his men got into the wagon. Before leaving the Sect Master told the rest of his men to go home with his son.
“What are you going to do at the Soul Dividing Sect?”
Qing Yan asked making small talk.
“I’m going there to take the enter test.”
Everyone in the wagon looked at Chin Ju with surprise.
“What’s wrong?”
“Chin Ju don’t you know that the enter test is tomorrow?”
One of the three men said but hearing him Chin Ju eyes widen with shock.
“Don’t worry if we hurry we might be able to make it.”
The sect master was trying to rest a sure Chin Ju that it would be ok.
“Chin Ju there was something that I wanted to ask?”
The same man that told that the test is tomorrow spoke up.
“And what would that be?”
“Before we lost Sir Qing Sha we were here to investigate the Under Wood Tree mountain. Here in a day or so there is suppose to be a full blow investigation on it by one of the Forbidden Grounds. We were told the Chin Sect that was there was suppose to be evacuated. Why did it seem that you were just coming from it?”
Everyone eyes looked at Chin Ju with a confused look. They thought that all or what’s left of the Chin Sect that was on the Under Wood Tree mountain was gone. The sect is located miles away, but they could still see the smoke and bright light that was coming from the Under Wood Tree mountain. However Chin Ju only smiled awkwardly but with a worried look he said.
“Three days ago I was sent to go heal someone that was suffering from a poison called the Screaming Leaf. Which can cause dizziness, throwing up, and aching pains all over. After I gave him the appropriate medicine I went to head home to see a completely new land scape.”
“I climbed to the top of the of mountain that’s now there and looked down onto the land. After getting a good look of it I climbed back down and I was tired so I went to sleep. To soon wake up with Qing Sha.”
“Oh, so you know the way of medicine.”
Qing Yan was amazed that Chin Ju knew the way of medicine. As far as he could tell Chin Ju only looked 13. For him to be sent to go heal people he must be extraordinary in it.
“I only know how to make a low level two grade pill.”
Everyone was amazed with Chin Ju. Learning the way of medicine is no light journey there are many complicated formulas and herbs that it could make someone head explode. Its said to even make a low grade pill is already low level master level.
Before the low grade pills there are many other things you have to learn. For example, creams, blacksmithing, formulas, timing, herbs, poising, and etc…
“Enough staring we don’t wont to make him feel uncomfortable.”
Chin Ju only smiled. He didn’t really know what to say so he thought it would be better to say nothing. In truth he can make a couple pills in low level three grade pill, but he’s been told to keep that a secrete by his brother.
