“If you say so.” Chin Hong was still worried, but if Chin Ju said it was alright then that was good enough for him.

Chin Ju after having traveled with his brother all day he was exhausted and ready to head back to his room. Earlier today his brother had shown him his living arrangements which were located in the Soul Slums. The Soul Slums were notorious for being the most run down and dilapidated buildings within the Soul Dividing School.

As Chin Ju walked into his room he couldn’t help but turn his head and grimace at the stench of the room. It smelled as if though a water had seeped deep into the building and created a moldy and musty smell that covered your entire being. In addition, a foul smell of death cut through the moldy and musty smell as if to announce its dominance as the king of smells.

The room was tiny only being 3 meter by 3 meters with a bed that took up over half of the living space, but it didn’t matter to Chin Ju as he only needed room to cultivate, and this room was more than enough. The significant problem for Chin Ju was that the walls were so razor thin that every sound from his neighbors reverberated through his room as if though the walls didn’t exist creating an atmosphere that was nearly impossible to cultivate in.

For tomorrow morning he was planning on absorbing the Martial Grass Flakes, and he wanted to be fully rested for it. Making sure that he got the maximum effect of the Martial Grass Flakes by calming his mind, but as things are now he thought it might be better to find a more suitable spot to cultivate.

He started to ponder on the idea of where he should go, until finally he narrowed it down to a library. He thought that this was probably the most suitable place for him, because it has a calm and soothing atmosphere that’s in it, and normal the place is always kept quite.

Deciding on this Chin Ju laid down and fell asleep that tomorrow morning he would leave this place

….

….

Waking up Chin Ju sat in bed for awhile and listen until finally he decided that maybe mornings were the best time to cultivate. Chin Ju had to stay in bed for the past 5 minutes just listing for anything and not one sound came through his walls. He then situated himself on to his bed and with the Martial Grass Flakes in his right hand he closed his eyes.

He started to focus on resolving his cultivation throughout his body tell it all pin pointed to his right hand. Slowly the cultivation that was in the Martial Grass Flakes transfer to his hand to slowly work its way to his dantian. The energy coming from one to the other felt smoothing to Chin Ju as the feeling of wanting more came to his mind.

He acted on the thought putting more force into sucking in the energy into him until after 5 minutes later there was no more. He had opened his eyes, and looked down at the Martial Grass Flakes finding that it was all brown and withered up.

A flash of pity showed in Chin Ju eyes, but it quickly went away for when he felt his dantian he was overwhelmed. His dantian was probably one fourth of the way from making a break though to the second level to Earth Realm.

‘I need to find more of this Martial Grass Flakes.’ Chin Ju hopped onto his feet and left his room hoping to find a place where he could find more or something better.

He decided that he would not ask his brother for cultivation materials, that instead he would strive and work for it himself. Then would he truly began to walk down the path of martial cultivation.

Walking around aimlessly Chin Ju somehow ended up in the Divided City, which is located at the heart of the Soul Dividing Sect. Its where the most expensive stuff is sold within the sect, and everything that’s sold here is based off points. May it be food, clothing, materials, training or even a place to sleep it’s all around the system of points throughout the whole school.

Chin Ju was hoping that maybe Martial Grass Flakes would be next to dirt cheap and he wouldn’t have to buy it with points, because right now he currently doesn’t have any, and that he was suppose wing it out until tomorrow.

But making it one fourth of the way from breaking into the second level to Earth Realm he was exceeded. From walking around all day it seems that his luck is not on his side and that maybe the only way is to earn points.

“Hey, you! Why do you keep circling around my restaurant are you trying to steal something of my?” Chin Ju was lost in thought when a deep masculine voice out of nowhere called out to him. He turned around to see where the voice was coming from, and looking behind him; he saw a broad shoulder guy that was looking at him with a white stripe kitchen apron around his chest.

Chin Ju thought for a moment as he looked toward the man with the white stripe kitchen apron. He then look at the restaurant behind him. “I’m looking Martial Grass Flakes or materials to cultivate with, and without using any points to buy it with.”

Thinking that this guy might have a clue where to find Martial Grass Flakes or materials maybe he worked here and would knows a place where he find some. Even if he doesn’t know where to find any it couldn’t hurt Chin Ju from asking.

The guy ponder for a bit until he said, “Follow me.” After he said that he turned around and went back into the restaurant.

Chin Ju just stood there for a moment until he looked up and saw a green sign that said, “Dragons Taste.” He thought that was a bit of a weird name, but didn’t think much of it. He then looked below the sign toward the whole restaurant and it seemed to be a little run down. The rest of the building had red pillars that were holding the building and below them were two huge red doors that had scratch marks on the dirt ground. If anything the outside looked kind of bland.

Coming into the building Chin Ju was shocked as the whole inside of the restaurant was the complete opposite from the outside. The outside of the building has a plain look to it and almost a rundown feeling, but the inside was elegant to every touch of it. It gave an atmosphere of royal feeling almost and it was packed to the brim in here.

“Follow me.” The broad shoulder guy moved his way around the tables that were filled with people leading all the way to the back of the restaurant going into two white doors.

Chin Ju followed his path going into the white doors, and as soon as he entered, heat followed along with it hitting Chin Ju’s face. He looked in front of him seeing people that were moving in fast movements making food fly into the air than to land on a pan. There would also be people that had a huge piece of meat in front of them and with a knife that was as long as an arm they would began to cut it with heavy and slow strikes. There were also people that were running around in the kitchen as they brought ingredients of food from one place to another. The whole place was moving non-stop as everyone was focus onto there jobs.

Chin Ju kept following the broad shoulder guy to finally he stopped in front of a pile of meat and guts that seemed to be from the beast that they were cutting up.

“The truth was that I was stepping outside to look for a replacement for the last guy that work in this station. I was looking around for someone when I saw you going in and out of stores non-stop I thought that maybe you were looking for a job. Normal no one will want this job no matter where there place on the ranking system. This can maybe even consider the worst job in the whole Soul Dividing School, but saying that I well give you 28 grams of Martial Grass Flakes for whenever you completely a job for me.” The broad shoulder guy said.

“What do I have to do?” Chin Ju didn’t want to agree right of way. He wasn’t sure on how long it would take to get rid of this pile and if there was something else he had to do.

“I just want you to dispose of the waste. you can do whatever you want with it. My Dragons Taste Restaurant is known for there delicacy meals of beast meat so were always having people pile up on waste. If you can get rid of the pile for whenever you come here i’ll give you Martial Grass Flakes.” The broad shoulder guy was treating this as if it was an easy task, but just as they were talking the pile as already grow once more.

“I’ll do it.” Chin Ju thought that there currently any other way for him to get points and depending on his rank tomorrow he could just easily quit this job.

“Good.” The broad shoulder guy put down a couple of tools on a table then he left.

Chin Ju looked toward the pile of meat and thought this truly is disgusting. The smell of this place reeks a thousand times worse than Soul Slums, but without thinking anymore Chin Ju went right to work.

Chin Ju first separated the pill of guts, muscle, fat, bones and etc…until finally there were several groups of piles but coming this far Chin Ju wasn’t sure what to do next. The broad shoulder man told him to get rid of it anyway he wanted, but looking at it now he didn’t know how to get rid of it. The broad shoulder man didn’t give him any advice on what to do.

Then an idea came to Chin Ju head as the heat from the fires of the kitchens was hitting him; he’ll burn the pile away. Thinking this he went to the back of Dragons Taste looking around, and decided this was a perfect spot for burning the meat away. No one was coming in the back of the restaurant, and there was a fence that was surrounding the back of the restaurant making sure no one could sneak in through here. It also seemed that they stored a lot wood in the back because besides that there was nothing else.

Chin Ju quickly made room for a fire making a circle of rocks, and in the circle he dug a hole storing wood inside as he lit the fire. He then went back inside and grabbed the guts first mixed in was a little muscles and put it all in the fire.

After a couple of hours had past it was already afternoon, and Chin Ju’s stomach had growled at him from not eating at all to day. He went back inside and looked at the pile even though people still come and drop stuff off the pile was more then half way done. All that remained were bones, and the meat that’s on them. Chin Ju had been recovering all the foods that can still be used saving them for last and burning the rest. He grabbed a couple of the bones that had meat on them and began to cook them over the fire.

He made some of the wood hold the meat over the fire while he took care of the rest of the remaining pile. After about 30min past he thought the meat was ready to eat. Taking his first bite into it filled his mouth with a nasty taste, but he also felt a little refreshed from it. It had a bit of a burning feeling inside him, but he assumed that he cooked the food badly.
