Chapter 17: Control.

Posted by

After all this Chin Ju went back to his room and went to bed getting ready for the next day. Waking up Chin Ju didn’t go back to the training hall, but instead went to the forest located in the Soul Diving School called the Black Forest.

Its were the school gets some of its food from. The disciples will occasionally come to the black forest to collect beast or just grab natural food. There’s even a place within the Soul Diving School that rewards you for collecting beast.

However thinking about it yesterday Chin Ju realized that he cant use cultivation the same way as other people. He was struggling keeping cultivation in his arms and legs. He needs to have more control in his cultivation were he can freely make it to one area to the next or have it at both.

“Found it! This is what I have been looking for.” After walking for a hour around the Black Forest Chin Ju was excided of the spot he just found.

He stop as there was a boulder that was bigger then him on the bottom of the hill. The hill was medium for its size compared to the hill Chin Ju use to. It was flat as it went up and there was really no bumps on it at all. There were no plants or trees growing on it as it was really plain looking. To Chin Ju on the other hand this was perfect he couldnt ask for anything better.

He walked up to the boulder as he activated his cultivation to his hands. He dug a little hole under the boulder to create leverage. He firmly grasp the rock as he implied cultivation to his legs and with that he put one foot in front of the other rolling the boulder up the hill. Leaving trail behind as the boulder was pushing all the dirt in front of it pushing it aside.

Chin Ju is putting one foot above the other as he going up the hill from before. Sweat is falling down his face as he is moving. His arms are spread out into a v-shaped form pointing out from his back. Holding a rock that is twice the height of him.

‘Because I just started cultivation I find it hard to move my cultivation around my body. So by implying cultivation to my arms and legs at the same time while moving a boulder up a hill it should boost my nerves to get use to this feeling without even knowing’ Chin Ju explain the sequins of how he should make his nerves remember the feeling of his cultivation.

‘Also, because I have been a crippled for so long, the most basic of kids know how to do this’ Chin Ju couldn’t help, but look at how far back he’s starting from others. He’s always had to look at there backs while they mocked him. Now though more he works, more he can catch up to them to soon or later over pass them.

However, Chin Ju found this quite difficult, it wasn’t just his arms and legs that he has to put his cultivation toward, but his whole body. The boulder would start to turn back to Chin Ju, making it demanding to keep pushing for Chin Ju.

He was getting tired and fast losing his grip onto the boulder. He had to move out of the way of the boulder jumping out of the way of it. Gravity took place as the boulder begun to roll down the hill either further that the starting point Chin Ju started at.

‘Focus were am I wasting most of my energy?’ Chin Ju stopped he didn’t go back to retrieve the boulder, but to instead think about were he was messing up. He stayed like this for thirty minutes until he move to the boulder and tried again.

Getting behind the boulder, he begun to shove once again. This time he was moving faster then he did before, but reaching the half way point the same thing happened. The boulder came rushing down.

‘I need to install 40% to my, legs 35% to my arms and the rest to my back.’ Chin Ju didn’t think about it this time but instead went after the boulder.

Like last time Chin Ju started to push the boulder up. This time however Chin Ju didn’t look like he was going to slow down. Instead his speed was staying constant, he soon past the half way mark,

“Just a little more and I’m there.” Chin Ju legs are wobbling as he’s reaching for the top. His knees start to bent give away, but refusing to give up Chin Ju still push’s through, until after hour he made it to the top.

However Chin Ju didn’t celebrate or take a break. Instead he grabbed the rock and pulled it toward him. He was bringing it back down. Chin Ju quickly found that each has it own level of difficulty. Pushing the rock up you have to deal with the frication of the dirt and grass pushing it aside, but making it come down the boulder uses the gravity putting its full weight onto Chin Ju.

Chin Ju legs started to wobble, but he didn’t move or stop instead his pace was slow while going down the hill. He would soon meet the bottom to then catch his breath and go back up. Without delay he kept on progressing moving. Chin Ju just kept rolling the rock up and down the hill continuously without taking a break.

Little did he know that the average weight that his cultivation can do is 150kg. This rock alone is 272kg, that’s 123kg more than the average the first level of Earth Realm can handle. Normally speaking it should be enough to flatten him. The most ever heard was that a top person for his level would only be able to lift 200kg.’

…..

“Hahaha…To think that I can only bring that boulder up the hill only a hundred times truly pathetic.” Chin Ju shakes his head in disappointment for himself, while catching his breath on the floor.

Looking at the hill on the other hand it was completely reformed. There were long strikes of dirt tossed to the side. Chin Ju didn’t use the same trail he did before. He made sure each was fresh to have the same level of difficulty.

If anyone were here to hear what Chin Ju just said, they would have throw up blood repeatedly. For him to be at the first level of Earth Realm and to move the boulder could be said a miracle by it self, but to bring it up and down the hill a hundred of times on his back. Even if a person saw this they would be in a state of disbelieve.

After catching his breath after several of minutes he finally got up. He looked around to see that it was already dark.

“Better get some rest for tomorrow.” Chin Ju said thinking out loud. He laid back on the ground as he closed his eyes.

…..

Waking up Chin Ju didn’t go back to pushing the rock instead he went into the forest and grabbed some wooded and came back to where the boulder was. Using the wood he created a ramp of his own. It wasn’t ideal, and would fall apart on the first use, but it was good enough for what Chin Ju wanted.

Chin Ju put the boulder on the ramp and using that he lowered his legs and picked up the boulder. Pushing it yesterday Chin Ju found out that he was probably strong enough to pick it up. So using everything he has he pick up the boulder and put it on his shoulders. Making his arms go almost stright due to the size of the boulder.

Like last time Chin Ju begun his asent up the hill, but this time carrying the boulder on his back. If someone were to happen pass by or see Chin Ju with a huge boulder on his back they would for sure think he crazy. If they were to also know the weight of the boulder they would think he’s an monster.

Chin Ju so heavy that he’s leaving foot prints into the ground, while every part of Chin Ju was popping with the weight overbearing to Chin Ju’s small alter interior frame. Even though this was the case Chin Ju didn’t stop of slow down.

Instead Chin Ju kept moving his cultivation around to match the places it was most needed. This idea would be crazy to the normal person, but to Chin Ju he couldn’t think of a faster and better way of figuring out how to use cultivation.

Chin Ju reached the top, but like before he went back down each having there diffuculty. After awhile this came easier to Chin Ju. He was still tired with sweat coming down his forehead and his breathing was trying to grasps the air. However his body felt a little lighter and he wasn’t nearly as wobble as when he was rolling the boulder up the hill. Before Chin Ju knew it he was focusing on his cultivation to hold the boulder.

It soon came easy as breathing to Chin Ju to carry it to one spot to the next. Relizaing this Chin Ju continuded for a couple of more times up and down the hill until finally he stopped and put down the boulder.

“Boom..”

Chin Ju put down the boulder as dust flies into the air. Chin Ju then laid on the floor breathing heavily trying to grasp each breath. Chin Ju laid there for awhile until he finally was back to normal by the time this happened it was noon.

“I think I’m ready.” Chin Ju spoke out loud going into the forest.

…..

An couple of your have past and the sun is about to go down.

Deep in the forest Chin Ju is sitting down with a bowl sitting in front of him. His eyes are staring at it intensely as he is thinking as to drink it or not. For the past hour Chin Ju been gathering poisons herbs and grinding them up in the bowl. Of course Chin Ju know what each herb does and what it will do.

“I need to get strong and fast.”  He mumbled to himself, as he grabbed the bowl and opened his mouth to put all the poisons in there. Sweat beads started to go down his face has his expression turned ugly. Minute past and Chin Ju is sitting down cross legged as he’s focusing. He then grabbed his neck as there was intense pain. However he sat there enduring it with out making sound.

Chin Ju breathing turned heavily trying to suck in all the air he can get. His insides then started to burn intensely. Chin Ju closed his eyes trying to focus on the pain that is bombarding his body.

‘This is what I’ve been training for, I have to push it out now.’ Chin  Ju begun to rotate his cultivation around his body attacking the poison herbs.

After awhile the pain subdued its self and so did everything else.

“Success.” Chin Ju said out loud.

However he frowned, he thought about it for awhile and went back into the forest. He went to go collected more poisons herbs throughout the forest, but this time he was collecting much more powerful herbs than before.

The weakest herb he collected so far is called the Screaming Leaf. The Screaming Leaf alone could kill a person in the third level of Earth realm. The Screaming Leaf would first make the person throw up blood as their insides are slowly getting eaten away. Then when the person is feeling pain that a person should never feel. It will then start to melt their organs to pieces were their functions will turn useless. For then the blood has nowhere to be directed. The blood then would block the flow of other organs until you die from the burst of blood.

The strongest one that he has is called the Raging Morl. The Raging Morl is a powerful poison that is very rare, but just so happens that Chin Ju know where to look for one.
