My son and I have been enjoying reading Japanese and Chinese novels for a while now (i.e. xianxia vs xuanhuan vs wuxia, Light Novels). After a little debating on who could write a better version of Japanese/Chinese type novels we decided to set up this site to compete against each other.
While it’s true that we are competing in Japanese/Chinese novels neither of us has any experience or study into the cultures, writing, and so on other than the novels we have come to enjoy.
If you found this page by chance we hope you enjoy reading the stories. If you see room for improvement we would enjoy hearing from you. At the end of the day neither of us are professional writers nor do we claim to be or hope to be. We are just a couple of people who were bragging to each other who decided to compete.
So any good war must have rules so these are them:
- No checking out the other’s story before you have posted yours (this is honor system).
- Must post 1 chapter a week (corrections are allowed after 2 weeks such as edit, spelling and so on).
- Votes are done on a week by week basis. Must vote on own story or other’s each week based on who’s story is better that week.
